A TRAIN THE
TRAINER PROGRAM

for Workplace Sexual Harassment Workshop

Invest in a safer and more respectful workplace by becoming a trainer in workplace sexual harassment prevention for your community, organization, industry or division.

The Status of Women Council is offering a Train-The-Trainer Program designed to empower facilitators with the skills and knowledge necessary to champion effective workplace sexual harassment prevention courses.

Course Highlights

The program focuses on cultivating a deep understanding of the nuanced nature of sexual harassment, enhancing facilitation skills for sensitive topics, and fostering an inclusive and proactive approach to prevention.

The Train-the-Trainer program incorporates legal frameworks, organizational policies, and best practices for conducting WSH workshops.

Emphasis is placed on equipping trainers with the communication skills necessary to create a safe and open learning environment, navigating diverse participant dynamics, and managing discussions on this sensitive
subject matter.

Cultural competence and inclusivity are central themes, as the program addresses the impact of cultural factors and strives to ensure that training is accessible and relevant to individuals of all backgrounds. The curriculum includes considerations for LGBTQ+ inclusivity, recognizing the unique challenges within this community, and promoting a workplace culture that is respectful and welcoming to all.

Trainers will be guided on utilizing a variety of instructional tools and resources, including multimedia, case studies, and interactive elements, to enhance engagement and knowledge retention. The program also explores the integration of technology for effective training delivery, ensuring adaptability to various learning environments.

Participants will engage in practical application exercises, including delivering segments of the training and receiving constructive feedback for continuous improvement. The program concludes with a focus on post-training support, providing resources for ongoing learning and establishing a community for trainers to share experiences and best practices.

By the program’s completion, trainers will possess the confidence, competence, and commitment to drive impactful workplace sexual harassment prevention initiatives, creating safer, more inclusive environments for all.
